The Portland Show hosted the PNDC Regional Show.  The site was  at the Oaks Amusement Park on
the Willamette River. The building was the air conditioned 110 year old Dance Pavilion building. All
pictures on this page will enlarge if you click on them.

The score was over 90.
Max Ollieu went home before the best
in show flower was selected. He found
out he had won when this picture was
posted to Facebook. It garnered about
150 likes.
Margaret Kennedy won best basket
with her entry of Hollyhill Jitterbug,
Hollyhill Black Cherry and a seedling
flower.

that has nice long stems and a pure
red color. Bright red celosia is in there
too.
Maxine Walker won the prize for the
best challenge flower, Parkland's Rave.
Mike Riordan won best large flower
with his entry of AC Casper.
Camille Noel won the prize for the best
triple of a small flower, Hollyhill Black
Beauty. It will be the challenge flower
next year.
David Brown of the U.K. awarded Max
Ollieu a silver medal for his triple entry
of Timona Pastel.
Phyllis Shafer was awarded the PNDC
gold medal at the awards banquet at
the Old Spaghetti Factory.

I get the impression that David Brown enjoyed the show. He has been
taking lots of pictures to add to his 25,000 pictures of dahlias on the
British website
